Old Country House with a Yard in a Big Village near Vratsa city, Bulgaria
Old country house in a big village about 65 km north of Vratsa, Bulgaria. The property is located near the main street of the village and in proximity to park. The house has one floor which holds a lobby, corridor, kitchen, spacious living room and 2 bedrooms. There is also a basement beneath and attic space above. The place had been empty for a couple of years so it needs a good cleanup and certain amount of renovations.
The house comes with a plot of land (670 sq.m.) which used to be a nice small vegetable garden with some vines around the pathways. At the far end of the plot one can find what is left from a few old storage buildings. Most of these structures are very old, derelict and in bad shape therefore they need to be removed. Halfway through the garden one can find a solid storage building with one premise which can be turned into a workshop.. The property has a parking space within the yard.
The house itself is situated on the main street and has another entrance from there. In the garden one can find a water well which serves as an additional water supply for the property thus providing a cheap option for watering the yard.
The village itself is one of the biggest ones in the area and here you will find a police station, , a doctor, bank branch, gas station, carwash, school, kindergarten, several grocery stores and bars. The internet and mobile phone coverage here are very good. Those who enjoy fishing can practice their hobby at the nearby river which provides plenty of nice spots for camping too. Some of these sites are within less than 5 minutes walking distance from the house.
The village also has bus transport connecting it to the national capital city Sofia, the regional capital Vratsa as well as with other towns and villages in the area. The ferry crossing over the Danube river and the border with Romania are just about half an hour away from here. Sofia International Airport is at about two – two and a half hours drive from the property.
