The village has a grocery store, a community center, which hosts a rich cultural activity, an inn, a beer hall, a tourist complex with a zoo. Donors have been taking care of the Orthodox church "St. Dimitar" since its construction in 1896. Most of the money was donated by patriots from the wealthy Burovi family. They also paid for the painting of the first icons and the iconostasis. Even today, young people sponsor their restoration.
The settlement is fully electrified and has a water supply, and there are 12 wells. The roads are in very good condition. There is regular transport to the town of Dalgopol and the railway station on the Komunari-Shumen line. It facilitates access for the most ardent tourists from Varna and Burgas. Children from the village attend the school in the village of Partizani. Several foreign families have purchased properties in the village.
The village is among the cleanest in the municipality. Traditionally, every spring and autumn, the people of Arkovo clean the stream that runs through the village and flows into Golyama Kamchia.
