Ploska mogila is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Stara Zagora, district Stara Zagora. The first Bulgarian Olympic wrestling champion Stancho Kolev is a prominent resident of the village. Brought great fame to Bulgaria with their titles, carried the torch Olympics in 1980 .Thanks to his efforts the village obtained a railway station.
In the center of the village is a large flat prehistoric mound, gave the name of the village.
