Zdravets is a village in northeastern Bulgaria. It is located in the Avren municipality, Varna region, about 10 km from the village of Avren, 6 km from the main road Varna - Burgas, 16 km from the city of Varna and only 19 km from the sea.
Population about 300 people. Elevation 187 m. The relief is flat-hilly. There is a large deciduous forest near the village. The climate is temperate-continental, influenced by the proximity of the Black Sea - winter is mild, and summer is cool. The old name of the village was Akandzhii. The roads in the village and around it are in very good condition. Effective water supply and electricity distribution networks have been built. In Zdravets there is a community center with a library and authentic folklore clubs, a post office, an optician, three grocery stores, a tavern, a pensioner's club, the restored church "St. Archangel Michael", a doctor's office. A dental office and a pharmacy are to be built. The village also operates a hotel "Byala Rada" with a tavern, barbecue and summer garden. There is regular public transport to and from the city of Varna.
Zdravets Dam is 2 km from the village. On the shore of the dam, a guest house Zdravets has been built - a good place for recreation and tourism. The beautiful nature, clean air and mild climate bring the popularity of the village of Zdravets as a place with good opportunities for building holiday villages and developing ecological tourism.
