The village of Iskar is part of the municipality of Valchi Dol, Varna region and is located 5 km. from the town of Valchi Dol and 50 km from Varna airport and 57 km from the sea. The village was formed at a time when Bulgaria was under Turkish rule. At that time, the road from Dobrudja to Istanbul passed through the current village of Iskar, from where caravans loaded with goods passed.
