Old House for Renovation with a Yard of 1115 sq.m. in a Scenic Village 30 km to Montana
Old country house with a private yard and nice views situated in a village surrounded by forest and mountains, 30 km away from the City of Montana, Bulgaria. The property is located in the outskirts and is in close proximity to the forest and a small stream.
The house has two floors connected via external staircase. The ground floor has a corridor and three premises which used to be storage rooms. The second level has a corridor, a living room, 1 bedroom, one more room and an enclosed terrace with nice views towards the forest, the village and the mountains. There also used to be another building not far away from the house but it had collapsed many years ago and now there are only its foundations.
The property is located on top of a big rock and its yard is divided into sections due to the natural slopes in the stone. Most of the area suitable for a garden is at the back and to the side of the house near the driveway. There is a gate which allows vehicles to access the property so bringing materials and goods would be easy and. The road leading to the property is in good condition.
The building definitely needs repairs as it had been empty for many years now and despite some occasional care received by its current owner not much had been done.
The village is small and very peaceful. It is surrounded by mountains, hills and a forest. There is a river passing about 3 km away from here, a small town about 10 km from the house and the City of Montana is at about 30 km away. Montana is the regional center for this area and provides many amenities such as a regional hospital, a wide variety of supermarkets, shops and stores, etc. Montana also has good links via road and rail to the national capital city of Sofia and many other towns and villages in the area and across Bulgaria.
