Large Village Property with Extra Buildings and a Private Yard, 55 km to Vratsa
Rural property with two houses, a barn, private land and good road access situated in a big village near a river, 55 km north of Vratsa, Bulgaria.
The main building is an old house with interesting architecture and history dating back to the early 1930s. This once beautiful structure was built as a private home in the early 1930s and after this it belonged to various administrations, banks and persons until it was purchased by the current owner who had plans to restore it completely but is currently experiencing financial difficulties and is eager to sell the place to someone who would be able to bring the building back to its old state.
The house has three levels connected via solid internal wooden staircase. The ground floor has three premises. You can enter this floor from the level of the street passing at the front of the building. From here one enters into a big room which served as a waiting hall and a reception desk. There is another premise to the right which was a small office for daily activities and meetings. Through the corridor on the ground floor you get to the stairs or to a big room located at the back – this was the storage.
The second level can be accessed from the stairs on the inside as well as from the yard through a backdoor. Here is a living room, a kitchen, a corridor and another premise used as a dining area. Going over the internal stairs you reach the attic floor which has three bedrooms and a corridor. One of the bedrooms has a small balcony facing the street and providing nice overview at the surrounding area.
The second house is located not far away from the main building. This structure has one level and consists of three premises – a big living room with a kitchenette and a dining area, one bedroom and a premise for a bathroom. There is also a covered porch in the front section of the house. Just like the main building this one also requires good amount of time, money in order to bring it back to its once good and usable state.
Opposite the small house is the barn. This structure is with the size of the second house and can be converted into an extra living space but so far it was always used as storage for various items. Near the barn is the driveway which provides access to a quiet side street so the property can be entered by a vehicle from two different sides. The main entrance is located at the main street passing in front of the building and is suitable for big vehicles e.g. trucks, tractors, delivery vans, etc. The second entrance from the side street is good for cars and smaller vehicles.
The property has running water and electricity which are currently disconnected for safety reasons but can be restored easily. There is also a fresh water well in the yard.
The property is situated on a street in very good condition and is about 150 meters away from a kindergarten, a shops, coffee bar, a post office, the mayor`s office, a bus stop, an ATM. There is a big river passing near the outskirts which is about one kilometer away from the house. Near its banks you can have a picnic, go camping, hunting and fishing or just admire the scenery.
The village has good bus connections to the seat of the local council which is in the next village. The regional capital city of Vratsa is about 45 minutes away from here while the national capital Sofia and Sofia Airport are within about two hours drive.
