Gorichane is a village in Northeastern Bulgaria, part of Shabla municipality, Dobrich district. It is located 6 km west of the municipal center of Shabla, 12 km from the sea coast, 75 km east of the town of Dobrich and 86 km northeast of the town of Varna. The village can be easily reached - by turning off the main Varna - Durankulak road.
Infrastructure
In the village there is a general store, a cafe, a pensioner's club, a town hall, which also houses a rich ethnographic collection. The biggest pride of the local people, however, is the recently restored church, built way back in 1875.
The village is fully electrified and water supplied. The road to the village is in very good condition. There is a regular bus service to the town of Shabla, from where you can also connect with bus lines to Dobrich and Varna.
Kids from the village travel daily to the school in the town of Shabla, with organized, free transport.
10 houses in the Shable village were bought by foreigners. Three English families live here permanently.
