Mogilishte is a village in Northeastern Bulgaria, part of Kavarna municipality, Dobrich district. It is located 6 km southwest of the city of Dobrich, 67 km northeast of the city of Varna, 5 km north of the city of Kavarna, 25 km northeast of the city of Balchik and 7 km from the sea coast.

A burial ground is located on a sea level. The climate is temperate-continental, influenced by the proximity of the Black Sea - summer is cool, autumn is warm, winter is mild but windy, and spring is sunny. The population is about 100 people. Altitude - 150 m. The old name of the settlement was Yuz Gübenik, which means "one hundred mounds".

In Mogilishte there is a town hall, a community center with a library and groups for folk singing and customs, a retirement club, a post office, a grocery store, a pub, a small beautiful park. There is also a villa area near the village.
The village is fully electrified and water supplied.
Mogilishte Wind Park is one of the first operating wind parks in Bulgaria. It is located near Kavarna, 6 km from the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The total power of the park is 9MW. The area is particularly suitable for wind power generation given the speed and intensity of the wind.
All modern communications are available on the territory of the village - there is coverage of all mobile operators, Internet, satellite TV, digital telephone exchange. The roads are in excellent condition. Regular bus transport connects Mogilishte with the town of Kavarna and the surrounding villages.
On the initiative of the town hall, trips to Kavarna are often organized in order to attend folk concerts and festivals or theater performances.

The proximity of the village to the Kavarna municipal center and the seashore creates good prospects for the development of rural and educational tourism.
Local people are mainly engaged in agriculture, which is a traditional livelihood for the area known for its fertile lands and favorable climate. Some of the residents of the village travel daily to their workplaces in the town of Kavarna.
Mogilishte is of particular interest to foreign citizens who decide to buy a home in Bulgaria. About 15 houses were sold to Englishmen. The owner of a property in the village of Kavarna is also a Dutch citizen. Offers for a house with a yard in Mogilishte remain unchanged, despite the economic turmoil of recent years.

In the community center of Mogilishte there is an ethnographic collection presenting the way of life of the local people in the past. In it you can see clothes, agricultural implements, dishes. One of the most valuable exhibits is a man's waistcoat, sewn 120 years ago.
