Old Country House with Yard in a Big Village near River 60 km to Vratsa, Bulgaria

The house had been empty for nearly a decade now and requires a good cleanup and some repairs. The property is located on the main road of the village about 10 minutes away by foot from the center, pharmacy, coffee bar, grocery store and a gas station. The house has 3 floors and an attic level. They are all connected via solid external staircase. The ground floor consists of 3 rooms and a corridor while the upper level holds 3 premises, a corridor and a balcony facing the street and providing views towards the neighboring properties and the surrounding area. The attic has one very big room which can be used as storage or turned into additional living space.

The land is currently overgrown and needs cleaning but it provides nice open space as well as plenty of room for growing your own vegetables and fruits and planting flowers. The soil here is very rich and fertile and the main industry in this area is farming. There are no factories for miles and one can enjoy plenty of peace as well as clean, fresh air, bio fruits and vegetables. The latter can be either homegrown by yourself or purchased from the local farmers. The property has main water supply as well as its own fresh water source – a well. During most of the time, the fresh water well was used for irrigation of the garden.

The village is the seat of the local council and here one will find administrative services, police station, fire station, a doctor, dentist, primary school, kindergarten, library, construction material store, bank branch, ATM, grocery stores, etc. The village is lively and has direct bus links to the regional capital city Vratsa, the city of Montana, the national capital Sofia and few other villages and towns in the area.

Those who like fishing, camping, hunting and wildlife photography will be happy to practice their hobbies in the vicinity of the village as the area provides plenty of nice spots for those activities. The Danube River and the ferry crossing to Romania are just half an hour away from here. Sofia and Sofia International Airport can be reached within two, two and a half hours of driving depending on the traffic. The village is already famous among foreigners as there are people from many nationalities here – Spanish, South African, English, Scottish and others.
