Dolni Chiflik is located 40 km from Varna, 80 km from Bourgas, 60 km from Nessebar and Sveti Vlas and 400 km from Sofia.
The town is located about 3 km from the Kamchia River, in a valley where the beautiful Longoza and Kodja Balkana stretches.
The climate is temperate continental with pronounced Black Sea influence. Winter is relatively soft and summer sunny and warm. The weather is extremely favorable for balneal and rehabilitation procedures as well as for thalassotherapy.

There is a town hall, secondary school "Vassil Levski School", "Ivan Vladimirovich Mihurin" High School of Agriculture, "Winnie the Pooh" kindergarten, several private doctors' offices, shops and cafes.
There are also two chitalishta, which include choir, orchestra and dance ensemble.
