About the village:

It is about 11 km northeast of Kazanlak, about 44 km north of Stara Zagora, about 55 km south of Gabrovo and 262 km southeast of the capital Sofia.

Regular bus transport links it to the cities of Kazanlak and Stara Zagora.

The village is situated at the foot of Stara Planina Mountain with a wonderful view of Botev peak, Triglav and Sredna Gora Mountain at 576 m above sea level.
The permanent population is about 600 inhabitants.

The climate is temperate continental with a large number of sunny days. Winter is soft, snowfall is rare. Summer is warm, and rainfall is rare.

Dolno Izvorovo has a town hall, a community center and a kindergarten. There is cable TV and coverage of all mobile operators. The health care of the inhabitants of the village is taken care of by a general practitioner. The nearest school and a hospital are located in the town of Kazanlak.

The nearby Enina River attracts lovers of fishing and the countryside is suitable for eco-tourism, walking and rest.

Near the village of Dolno izvorovo was discovered a unique Thracian domed tomb, located below the mound, in its southern periphery deep underground.
