Petrov Dol is a picturesque hill village. The climate is temperate continental, with hot summers and mild winters. The population is about 400 people.

The village has a town hall, shops, post office, coffee. There is regular bus transport to Provadiya and Varna several times a day.
The area has many historic sites, beautiful scenery, places suitable for hiking, lakes for fishing and recreation, not industrial pollutants.
